Three Truths -- Director's Intention

Terrific Trio...you impressed me yet again! Congratulations on another successful performance together! Bravooooo!! 

Now, it's time for that write up! 

1) Take time to discuss what your understanding of each theorist is, how you intended to apply that (on a MACRO level) and what specific choices you made to create that effect (MICRO level). 

2) How did the performance go? How effective were your choices? What were particular strengths? What might you have done differently? Explain. 

3) Examine the entire Three Truths performance (all of the 9 scenes) to find, describe and analyze a moment of TEAM. This means you should find a moment of a) Tension, b) Emotion, c) Atmophere & d) Meaning.  

If you have already detailed and analyzed these in your previous description of your pieces, that's ok; however, you must LABEL the moment as such. You three have a difficult time with describing a moment in detail, so make sure an outsider could picture it, then go on to explain HOW this created the desired effect.

4) Discuss the Three Truths project overall. How was it different working as director vs. actor? What realizations did you have while working on these pieces (including those about the theater practioner)? Do you have any particular preferences for a theorist? Explain your reasoning.
