Important Spring Theatre Festival Info!

Spring Theatre Festival Performers! 

Welcome! We have just under a week before Opening Night, and I hope you are excited and ready to perform your work! Keep rehearsing and working on the small details this week! 

I have a LOT of information below. Please take your time to read and familiarize yourself with what's going on!  It is expected that all performers & crew members attend both the Technical (Thursday) and Dress Rehearsal (Friday). 

Lastly, be sure to tell your family and friends about your performances! We want as many people to see your work as possible! (I'm including a PDF copy of the poster if you would like to share it with others or print it out for your wall!)

By Tuesday, October 11 @ 6 pm

• Confirm the name of your piece and all group members with Ms. Grimes--This is for the program! 
• Send Ms. Grimes an MP3 of any sound/music to be played before/during/after your performance
• Send Ms. Grimes a list of any set pieces you will need moved on/off during your piece. Arianna (Backstage Manager) will work with you to make sure we have people helping to move these pieces on and off-stage.
• Ensure you have all props and costumes necessary for your piece

Thursday, October 13--Technical Rehearsal (3:30-5:50)

Tech Rehearsal is when we will run through the entire show from start to finish with lights and sound. This takes a bit of time as we will have to practice the exact timing of when to run specific cues for lights and sound.

• Meet in the BBT at 3:30 for an ALL CAST Meeting
• Bring all costumes, props, etc. for the show! 
• Crew Members should be in ALL BLACK
• All performers should help backstage and with set changes! 

Friday, October 14--Dress Rehearsal (3:30-5:50)

A Dress Rehearsal is a basically a full performance where we perform with everything--ALL costumes, props, makeup, lights and sound. We don't stop to give notes, but rather see the whole show through.

• CALL: Meet in the BBT at 3:30 for an ALL CAST Meeting
• Show begins at 4:00
• We will be taking publicity pictures, so make sure you are there and in full costume! 
• Crew Members should be in ALL BLACK
• All performers should help backstage and with set changes! 

Monday, October 17 -- Two Performances! 

You have TWO performances on Monday--one at 4:00 and one at 7:00. At the moment, I estimate that the show will be about an hour and a half, so after cleaning up, you will be ready to go around 8:30 or 9:00. Once we do the Dress Rehearsal we will have a better idea of the exact timing.

• CALL: Please come to the BBT immediately after school--3:15.
• Dinner will be provided in between the shows!
• All props and costumes must be cleaned up before the end of the night! 
• Crew Members should be in ALL BLACK
• All performers should help backstage, with set changes and refreshments!

Tuesday, October 18 -- 4:00 ONLY Performance

There is only ONE afternoon performance on Tuesday! 

• CALL: Please come to the BBT immediately after school--3:15.
• Crew Members should be in ALL BLACK
• All performers should help backstage and with set changes! 
• All performers should help backstage, with set changes and refreshments!
