*Many students don't go deep enough in reflecting on their learning, thinking back to particular shows where this training could have been helpful.
*The final piece--comparison to another Theatre Tradition--is often left behind.
Stronger Presentations:
- Reference the criteria in the rubric they are addressing when they address it in the presentation
- Make specific references to the sources throughout their presentation
- Use a variety of sources (not just internet)
- Use the entire 15 minutes
- Focused on one convention
- Explain the process of exploration (rather than just listing activities, include how you grew and developed as a performer)
- Explain the process of applying the convention to the the MOT
- Had MOT were 45 seconds (minimum) or longer to show depth of understanding
- The CONVENTION not the tradition is compared in the final strand (D2)
