Works Cited Pages & MLA Style

It's imperative that you cite all the sources you used in your work, whether it's a video, a quote or image! We are an MLA style school, so it's important that you use MLA style in your work.

Here are some resources to help with creating a properly formatted:

MLA Works Cited (A Quick Guide)

OWL Purdue Writing Center (Sample Works Cited Page)

EasyBib (YOU MUST CHANGE FORMATTING!)

Hints:

  • I would encourage you to have a separate Works Cited Page & Images Cited Page.
  • Citations do NOT count in word count or in the page limit
  • Make sure you follow the OPPOSITE formatting of a regular paper:
FIRST LINE SHOULD BE FLUSH LEFT JUSTIFIED AND THE FOLLOWING LINES
SHOULD  BE INDENTED. NO MATTER IF THEY ARE JUST ONE LINE OR TWO OR
     THREE OR FOUR OR FIVE.
