SORRY!! I was looking at the blog for tomorrow's class and realized that I posted this blog post on my Theatre Production class blog. DOH! I'm sure they were confused! If you haven't already, please take a moment to reflect on how your personal context does and WILL affect the theatre you make and are interested in creating.
How does your personal context affect who you are as a theatre-maker?
For example:
Context: As a girl who grew up in the Midwest and felt like I didn't fit in. I sought out different cultures and perspectives and value diversity.
How this affects me as a theatre-maker: I strive to find diverse perspectives in the pieces I choose to perform. I try not to perpetuate stereo-types and strive to share different cultures and perspectives. I appreciate stories from different cultures that push my thinking.
Please put this on your THEATRE BLOG & copy the link here in the comments.
(IB year 1's -- This means you need to make sure you have MADE your blog!)
